East Sussex Economic Partnership Limited (ESEP) is a partnership of private, public and voluntary sectors supporting the East Sussex business community in the revitalisation of the East Sussex economy. East Sussex Economic Partnership's objective is to lead and coordinate on strategy and activities which contribute to raising the economic performance, improving the quality of life and developing employment opportunities across the county of East Sussex.

Who are the ESEP Partners?
ESEP is a business led independant body which acts as a channel to co-ordinate communication between the representatives from the business community on issues affecting economic development in East Sussex; it is responsible for managing the delivery of a number of programs including: East Sussex Area Investment Framework; Small Rural Towns Programme; Locate East Sussex. Strategic activity to be undertaken over the next 12 months includes the establishment of a Business Leadership Team and the refresh of the East Sussex Economic Development Stratgy.

Locate East Sussex
Locate East Sussex offers the following services, at no charge and in the strictest confidence, to businesses and individuals: Countywide Sites and Premises Search Facility; Information about East Sussex; Grant Eligibility within East Sussex; Signposting, to guide you to the services required to expand or relocate your business.
Area Investment Framework (AIF)
An AIF is a comprehensive plan designed to financially assist an area in need of economic development and regeneration, to raise the economic performance and regenerate deprived communities.
East Sussex AIF
East Sussex has two AIF's. One covering the Hastings and Bexhill region
and the other covering the rest of East Sussex. Further details of

The East Sussex AIF is based around five main priority investment themes. details of these can be found on the Projects page.
Hastings AIF
The Hastings and Bexhill Economic Alliance was established
to identify the areas for regeneration in Hastings and Bexhill. Sea
Space is the economic development company for Hastings and Bexhill.
East Sussex Economic Partnership Task Groups
To inform the Partnership of needs and issues a number of ESEP Task Groups have been formed to ensure that economic development and regeneration are adequately addressed across East Sussex. The Task Groups are:

- Sites and Premises
In addition ESEP forms strategic links with the following networks:

- East Sussex Learning Partnership (Education and Skills)

Chairman
Hamish is a diversified farmer with a Business Park located in Westfield near Hastings. He is a member of Westfield Parish Council and former chairman and now committee member of both Sussex CLA and Kent & Sussex FWAG.

Mark is responsible for leading the work of ESEP and the overall management of the company and organisation, the devolved delivery program and Locate East Sussex. He is a member of South East England Regional Assembly and the Regional Transport Board. He has a background of both public and private sector working and has been involved in economic development for over 14 years.
